Little Five Points
Little Five points is a very hip, fun eclectic area in intown Atlanta located just 2.5 miles east of downtown. Little Five Points was actually developed in the early 1900s as a commercial district for Inman Park and Candler Park. Surprisingly, there is no residential real estate available today in Little Five Points. Residential real estate in Little Five points is absorbed by the neighboring communities of Inman Park on the west, Kirkwood on the southeast, Candler Park on the east, and Poncey-Highland on the northwest.
Although there are no homes for sale in Little Five Points, the alternative culture it adds to the area provides a walking area with blocks of independent retail stores, novelty shops and dining establishments that are as far from franchises and chain restaurants as you can get! It is a thriving commercial resource for the surrounding communities. The bookstores, many restaurants and bars, retail stores, theaters, music venues and an eclectic variation of shops in Little Five Points looks like a very colorful and artistic strip-mall. Local residents in neighboring communities have the benefit of Little Five Points as well as a central location in very close proximity to Downtown Atlanta.
